Volunteer with Love INC

 Use your gifts to serve individuals and families in meaningful, practical ways. From answering phones to walking alongside participants in their journey, there’s a place for you on the team.

Volunteer Roles

Receptionist
9:00am–12:00pm | Monday–Thursday (choose one or more days each week)

Answer incoming calls with a friendly demeanor and record requests for assistance and contact information. Screen participants to determine if they are in our service area and if we can meet their needs, referring participants to appropriate organizations if necessary.

Intake Volunteer 
9:00am–12:00pm OR 1:00pm–3:45pm | Tuesdays & Thursdays (more days coming as we grow)

Connect with participants over the phone in a conversation to discuss Participant needs, schedule appointments at partner churches or community partners, offer encouragement, and pray. It is crucial for intake volunteers to demonstrate an ability to listen compassionately to callers and offer emotional support while refraining from offering advice.  Discernment and a non-judgmental attitude are essential.

Ally – Time Varies

Allies partner alongside our participants and walk with them through various needs or appointments. During this process, Allies build relationships with the participant and provide encouragement. Ally duties vary but may include providing transportation, maintaining ongoing contact, or encouraging and supporting participants’ life and faith goals.

Budget Coach or Teacher – Time Varies

Coaches and Teachers mentor participants in various topics from budgeting, to parenting, to Boundaries, to Bible Studies. They work closely with our Transformation Coordinator to establish content for one to one mentoring and group classes.
