COPE – Cost of Poverty Experience

April 18 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

What would you do if you had to choose between paying rent or buying food for your kids?
That’s the kind of impossible decision thousands of families face every day—and it’s exactly what you’ll confront during the Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE).
In just two hours, you’ll navigate the real decisions, tradeoffs, and barriers that thousands of your neighbors face every single day. It will challenge you. It may surprise you. And it will change the way you see and serve your community.
Then, go deeper with a live panel of local leaders from organizations making a difference right here in Des Moines:
• Joppa
• Change Course
• Tim’s Club
• Impact
• Alpha

Each leader will offer expert perspective from their field — from homelessness to youth development to recovery — so you leave not just moved, but informed and ready to act.

This event is designed for church leaders, church members and community leaders who want to move from awareness to action. Registration required!
